‘Four Seasons’ designed & tattooed by Naomi Hoang

A colourful half-sleeve design by Naomi Hoang, which depicts the four seasons in the style of traditional Japanese woodblock art. NAOHOA Luxury Bespoke Tattoos, Cardiff, Wales, UK.

Four Seasons

#NAOHOAstory: This was my first attempt at tattooing with coloured ink, using Kuro Sumi, which is organic and vegan-friendly. It was always important for me to source ethical products, and I’m glad Kuro Sumi is (juuust about) available in the UK.

This piece is called ‘Four Seasons’ and created in a Japanese woodblock art style. I wanted to get away from the stereotypical Yakuza-style tattoos (yes, that’s where they stem from) and make it more arty. As you’d seen in previous posts, I’d worked on a game and was immersed in this art style for an intense 3-month contract.
