#NAOHOAstory: As a fun exercise, I decided to redesign my original Pokémon team – back from when I played Blue as a kid (yes, I’m old. #TeamBlue 💙). Here’s my rendition of Rapidash, drawn and painted in 2010.
The original files are long gone, due to an unfortunate incident with my external harddrive, so only low-res versions from my ancient Blogspot account exist.
At this point, I’d graduated from uni and was hoping to make it as a Concept Artist in the gaming industry. The top three are design ideas (i.e. ‘concepts’), and the bottom image is the final illustration.
From what I remember, my team was: Venusaur, Gengar, Starmie, Rapidash, Zapdos…and I think Mewtwo? Though I hardly used him. My Gengar kicked ass most of the time. 😜😁
