#NAOHOAstory: Vicki, another high school friend, was my first paying client. She’d been put off tattoos for 8 years, due to a negative experience getting a heart tattoo (top left) by an uncaring artist. This became my first coverup and it was an honour to have helped cover a piece that brought bad memories for nearly a decade.
I was very…precise about things growing up and got a rep for being a perfectionist. 🙃 What was a cause for concern or mockery before, became a shining asset once I fell into the world of tattooing. Funny how that happens, eh? 😜
