Musical Pandas

#NAOHOAstory: After leaving the games industry, I tried seeking remote jobs to keep things moving, but often didn’t get a response. Despite my experience, varied portfolio and contacts, I wasn’t getting anywhere. This was the furthest I got with one company, where I produced a few pieces for an Art Test. It was for an educational game to teach kids music theory – I liked the idea of contributing to something useful whilst still being an artist.

I was one of the last two they narrowed down to, but wasn’t chosen in the end. It was at this point I decided to leave games for good. There was only so much heartache I could take from the industry after pouring so much into it.
